Our Beer Kit Enhancer contains 1kg of a blend of spray dried dextrose and spray dried malt extract which is simply added in place of sugar to any beer kit. Spray dried dextrose contains simple sugars which will encourage a very rapid start to fermentation ensuring little opportunity for any contamination at the vulnerable start of the brewing process. The spray malt portion of the Beer Kit Enhancer will improve head formation and head retention, overall flavour and increase the resultant body of the beer, making your beer more like the commercial equivalent. Muntons Beer Kit Enhancer is simple to use. Just follow the instructions provided on your beer kit substituting Muntons Beer Kit Enhancer where sugar is used in the original recipe. For simplicity, it is better to add the enhancer to the fermenter at the same time as the beer kit ingredients are being added and before the addition of any hot or cold water. Try the new Beer Kit Enhancer and you will be amazed at the improvement in your final beer.

An all malt kit no fermenting sugar required. Keeping the British Troops supplied with fresh beer out in the British East Indies proved to be a problem during the 19th century. The lengthy journey by sailing ship caused the beers to spoil and a special brew therefore had to be supplied - India Pale Ale. This was brewed to a high alcohol strength to keep bacteria at bay during the voyage. Upon arrival the beer was watered down to normal pub strength for the troops. Of course the officers had access to the non-diluted version! However you have a choice. Recreate India Pale Ale, brewed to the Troops Tipple at approximately 1040 OG strength or the Higher Rank's Reserve version in its higher strength form.
