Alcotec 8 Super Turbo Yeast

Turbo Yeast: Alcotec 8 is the most extreme superyeast you can find when it comes to high alcohol production (making moonshine using a reflux still).

Alcotec 8 got its name from the fact that it will ferment 8 kgs of sugar in a 25 litre solution. Alcotec 8 is a high alcohol Turbo Yeast producing 20% alcohol by volume in only 5 days - another “impossible” achievment from Alcotec.

Temperature range is 12-24 C (54-75 F). The optimum temperature is just under 24 C (75 F), at lower temperatures fermentation will take more than 5 days and at higher temperatures, fermentation will stick and the result will be less alcohol.

If you want to make 20% moonshine alcohol in higher temperatures, use Alcotec 48 instead. It will work fine but it will take more than 5 days.
