LalBrew® Voss Kveik Ale Yeast 11g pack

Kveik is a Norwegian word meaning yeast. In the Norwegian farmhouse tradition, kveik was preserved by drying and passed from generation to generation.
Kveik is the original, traditional dried yeast!
The LalBrew® Voss strain was obtained from Sigmund Gjernes (Voss, Norway), who has maintained this culture using traditional methods since the 1980s and generously shared it with the wider brewing community.
LalBrew® Voss supports a wide range of fermentation temperatures between 25-40°C (77-104°F) with a very high optimal range of 35-40°C (95-104°F).
Very fast fermentations are achieved within the optimal temperature range with full attenuation typically achieved within 2-3 days.
The flavor profile is consistent across the entire temperature range: neutral with subtle fruity notes of orange and citrus.
Flocculation is very high producing clear beers without filtration or use of process aids.
!!<>!!!!<>!!Covid-19 Delivery - There is delays with All carriers Parcel Force taking 3-4 days, Royal Mail orders under 1kg up to 2 weeks on average for delivery.
There is little we can do with the delays, They have more parcels to deliver then ever before and less staff to do them, A little patence is required please.

Normal times Mail Order for the UK, takes on average between 1-3 working days, which is delivered by Royal Mail (Under 1kg) or Parcel Force (signed service)( over 1kg). (sometimes longer During busy times)

If a problem happens with the delivery please let us know and we will do our best to help, we can talk to Parcel Force to help solve the problem.

We do use 24hr and 48hr Parcel Services, this does not mean you will get the order in 24 / 48 hours, This is just the service we use, It still can take 1-3 working days to deliver your order

If it's your 1st order with us, parcels will not be left with out a signature OR if we think they are a high value order over 120 parcels will need to be signed for.

This stuff is mad! I used it to make a Norewigian Farmhouse ale. Ferment between 35 - 40 degrees centigrade and watch it go! After two hours after pitching it was going crazy - the next morning the foam was everywhere - get a large fermentation vessel! The most wonderful thing is that fermentation is complete and finished in three days, with no off flavours that a turbo yeast can leave. I bottled at once and it was ready to drink after two more days although a little cloudy. it did improve further after a week. Left the beer with a lovely citrus balance to the malt!
