Morgan's Ginger Beer
Morgans Ginger beer is an outstanding brew.
Formulated with the perfect balance of malted grains and Ginger, this original Morgan's recipe is great summer drink in a tall glass filled with ice.
Both non alcoholic and alcoholic versions can be made from this Ginger Beer Kit which makes 20 liters.
Yeast not included the kit.
Recommended Yeast: Morgans Ginger Beer Yeast
- Ingredients: Water, Malt Extract (Barley), Ginger Flavours, Citric Acid (E330), Vegetable Gum (E415), Sweetener – Sucralose.
- Contains: Gluten

- Fermentables: 1kg of brewing sugar (dextrose) (alcoholic) / 115g Granulated sugar (non-alcoholic)
- Priming Sugar: half teaspoon of granulated sugar or 1 carbonation drop (500ml bottle) (alcoholic version)

- Apoxoximate Alcohol: 3% (if making alcholic)
Equipment Needed:
Fermenting Bin 25 ltrs + - To ferment the ginger beer in
Pet Bottles, 2 packs enough for 5 gallons of beer - To Store and condition the beer ready for drinking.
Syphon Equipment - To aid moving the beer from the fermenter to the barrel or bottles.
Hydrometer - To Measure the gravity of the beer when it starts and finishes.
LCD Thermometer - Sticks on the fermenting bin to help you get the right brewing temperature 16oC - 24oC is best for beer.
Sterliser - Not equipment but is essential part to keep all equipment clean and sterlised when used.
