Essential Oil Profile: These hops are characterized by their mid to high alpha acids and low cohumulone content. Their aroma is reminiscent of the classic Cascade hop. The name “Amarillo®” has Spanish origins, meaning “yellow.”

Usage: Amarillo® hops find their place in American Pale Ales, India Pale Ales, American Wheat Beers, Bitters, Wheat Beers, Red Ales, and ESBs. Their flavour profile includes hints of apricot, grapefruit, and honeydew melon, with an aromatic touch of orange citrus.
