After syphoning the wine off the sediment, I have used the Prime filter many years to as a “rough” first filter. I then de-gas the wine and leave for a day before using the Premium filter for brilliantly clear wine. They make the difference and the wine as good as any shop bought or restaurant wine (for a fraction of the price of course).
Being old I found the kit very heavy and difficult to handle. From the kit instructions it would appear to take longer to get the bottling stage than my usual Beaverdale kit. I only got it to try as it was on offer but I shall go back to Beaverdale kits in future, they have always been good.
