Kegland Spunding Valve Ball Lock

BlowTie Complete Kit (Diaphragm Spunding Valve)

Finished composite kit with Ball lock coupling and overpressure valve with pressure gauge. If you want to ferment under pressure on e.g. FermZilla, this is the solution for you! The adjusting screw on the valve makes it easy to increase or decrease the set pressure. The parts can be easily disassembled for cleaning.

Fermentation under pressure is something that is becoming increasingly popular among home brewers, and therefore there is a greater demand for a reliable way to adjust the pressure in the fermentation tank. This kit is designed for this task. In addition, it is of great use if you pressurize to barrels, so that you have the opportunity to set a specified back pressure on the barrel you are transferring to, in order to preserve as much of the carbon dioxide as possible. Use the yellow adjustment screw to control the pressure coming out of the valve. Clockwise is higher pressure, and counter clockwise is lower pressure.

The recommended pressure is 0.6-1.0 bar (10-15psi).

Higher pressure than this can have negative consequences for fermentation and will lead to unnecessary wear and tear on the equipment.

Included:

1x Blow Tie Spunding Valve (overpressure valve)

1x DuoTight 8mm T-piece 1x DuoTight Quick coupling 8mm to FFL

1x 8mm DuoTight compatible pressure gauge 0-40 psi

1x Ball lock coupling for CO2 with threaded
