Keg Beer Filter 10" for Cornelius Kegs
The filter is approx. 10" high and has fittings to fit between two Cornelius kegs and force filter the beer one to another.
But I am sure you can remove the disconnects that come with the unit
to filter beer for fermenting bin - bin or pressure barrel - pressure barrel,
however you may need a pump or gravity to push the beer though
As I said we have not tested or played with these units
The disconnects are ball lock and the filter comes, with a 1 micron cotton style filter which is singe use only, a reusable filter for the unit is available separately.
I have also read on some USA web sites you can dry hop beer using these method just by putting hops in the filter housing and running the beer though, again We have no idea how effective this is or not
( I would suggest not having the filter and placing the hops in a fine bag so they don't block the filter )
The whole unit would need to be sterilised,
I would use a none rinse steriliser such as starsan
The filter included should be sterile but again starsan can be used as long as used as per the instructions
