Originally grown in Kent and Surrey, the majority of Goldings are now produced in Worcestershire. The beautiful, flowery Goldings aroma is highly prized by brewers, but supplies are becoming harder to obtain due to poor yields and low resistance to disease.

Goldings Hops are a classic English hop variety cherished by brewers for their delicate floral, earthy, and slightly sweet aroma. Often referred to as the "original" English hop, Goldings Hops are a versatile choice for traditional ales, bitters, and other beer styles. Whether you're crafting a classic English bitter or experimenting with modern recipes, Goldings Hops add a refined and balanced character to your brew.

Key Features of Goldings Hops:

  • Aroma Profile: Floral, earthy, and slightly sweet with subtle hints of spice.

  • Alpha Acid Content: Typically 4-6%, making it ideal for aroma and flavour additions.

  • Versatility: Perfect for traditional ales, bitters, stouts, and experimental beer styles.

  • Origin: A classic English hop variety with a rich brewing heritage.

Why Choose Goldings Hops?
