Grain or Must Scoop
This food grade plastic scoop can hold 3 litres of grain or must, this is a great tool to scoop out the waste from your mashing or wine making.
Made from solid plastic with a large handle incorporated into is a hook so the handle can also be used to hook the scoop on the side of a pot or a bin.
Being made from plastic does not detach this excellent bit of equipment from the task in hand without scratching stainless pots. Care should be used with other plastic bins / fermenters not to scratch while using the scoop.
The Scoop measures 20cm Diameter and 12cm Height the handle extends 11cm approx. giving a large surface area to hold. This gives a length of approx. 32 cm
Weighing approx. 245grms, and is white in colour
Made from PE-HD polyethylene high-density which is known for its large strength to density ratio. PE-HD can be recycled when the scoop has reached its end of its usability
Being food grade plastic the scoop can be used for many different things
for example when mashing use it to collect the run off while setting the mash bed,
also during syphoning process and can start the flow into the scoop and see its running clear then syphon direct into bottles or barrels.
Being made from plastic the scoop can be sterilised, using most home brew sterilisers like Five Star, Star San a non rinse steriliser or VWP which is a great cleaner and steriliser and our best selling steriliser
