This starter kit uses one of the best IPA beer kits on the market from the American beer kit range from Young's Homebrew
American IPA (India Pale Ale), Beer Kit 4kg - 6.5% ABV
Hops Used in the beer kit are Simcoe, Centennial and Chinook

Each beer kit comes with its own hop additions, yeast, sugar, priming sugar and malt extract so only water needed.

Each beer Kit Makes 40 pints / 5 gallons of American Style IPA Beer

Nothing excites the craft beer drinker more than an IPA, almost the flagship beer of the American craft beer revolution.

This beer is far different from the stuffy sub 4% beers found in some back street pubs with more similarities to the traditional IPA’s brewed in the 18th century.
These beers were brewed to slake the thirst of the British troops garrisoned in India and were heavily hopped and relatively high in alcohol to survive the arduous journey round the southern tip of South Africa.
This is an all malt beer kit so no fermenting sugar is required.

PLEASE NOTE WE CAN NOT SEND THESE STARTER KITS OUTSIDE THE UK DUE TO THE CO2 BULBS, THESE WILL BE REMOVED IF ORDERED All the equipment is re-usable, you just need a beer kit and steriliser for your next brew

How Easy?
Its very easy to make beer, This starter kit has all you need apart from water and steriliser
It takes approx 7-10 days to ferment the beer
Once fermented you need to store the beer to condition which will takes approx 3-4 weeks
You ferment the beer at room temperature anything from 16-21oC will be fine. Best not in a airing cupboard as this is far too hot
Then once bottled or barrel store at room temperature for 7-10 days to condition the beer, then more to a colder place to help clear the beer
Once the beer is made it will keep for 6 months - 1 year as long as the beer has conditioned in the bottle or barrel.
Anything Else?
To be honest no, just water
All the other equipment you are going to need is in the starter kit
For your next brew you are going to need, another beer kit
Fermenting sugar or enhancer for the kit, unless an all malt kit which does not require fermenting sugar
if you have not drunk your beer then more bottles or even a barrel for your next batch
Steriliser is great to have spare amount of it, as you always run out when you need some
