The Olicana hop is packed with tropical and floral notes. Brewers often detect mango and passionfruit alongside subtle herbal undertones. These characteristics make Olicana perfect for dry hopping, whirlpool additions, or late boil use. It brings a vibrant aroma without overpowering the balance of the beer.
Although it is mainly used for aroma, Olicana has a moderate alpha acid range, typically between 7% and 9%. That range allows it to contribute clean, soft bitterness when needed. Its flexibility allows brewers to use it in a variety of ways depending on the desired outcome.
Olicana® Hop Pellets are a new British hop variety developed by the Charles Faram Hop development program.
