Activated Carbon Sachet (Tea Bag style)
For those with the old style Air Still, these carbon sachets fit in the white connecting container (between the clear plastic container and the stainless steel still). This should be changed each time a batch of alcohol or water is put through the still.
For those with the grey collector filter, these sachets can go into the white spout area as an additional filter (as well as or instead of the carbon cartridge) for increased purity of the alcohol.
These activated carbons are designed to absorb any unwanted by-products from your spirit, ensuring your alcohol will taste as fresh and clean as possible.
Please note: The sachets should be run under a hot tap for 35/40 sec prior to use. This will activate the carbon and make the sachets much more effective.
