Single Hop Citra - All Grain Mash Brewing Kit
This is a all grain mashing kit to produce Single Hop Citra beer.
This kit which weighs approx. 6.35 kg comes with Crushed Warminster Maris Otter, Crushed Biscuit and Crystal Malt, Citra Hop Pellets or Leaf, Copper Fining Tablet and Yeast.
Giving an estimated Original Gravity 1.061
This is all you require apart from water and equipment so there is no wasted grain or hops by buying larger packs.
This kit will make around 23 litres As with all mashing recipes this does depend on your equipment and of course the amount of liquor ( water ) used will also change. We have given mashing guidelines based on our testing and equipment yours may be different.
Because we use pellets in our beer kit you will require a bag for the pellets if you have something else that can handle pellets then no need for the bag.
Why pellets ?- We think pellets are less mess then leaf hops and give better results and last longer with little degradation of the hop
