Flavour Profile: Willamette hops offer a delicate estery, blackcurrant, and herbal aroma. Some brewers even use them as a replacement for Fuggles hops. The aroma is pleasant but can be quite strong.
Characteristics: Willamette, a triploid daughter of Fuggles, was released as a U.S. aroma variety in 1976. It has mild aroma characteristics similar to Fuggles and medium cone yields. However, it’s more challenging to grow than most hop varieties.
Recommended Usage: These pure hop pellets work well in various beer styles, including Pale Ales.
