You will require basic brewing equipment to ferment the beer kit
Here is a simple starter kit Starter Kit With Barrel to allow you to make the beer if you have not already got brewing equiment
Below is a list of other essential equipment needed to make a beer kit
Fermenting Bin 25 ltrs + - To ferment the beer in
Pressure Barrel or Pet Bottles, 2 packs enough for 5 gallons of beer - To Store and condition the beer ready for drinking
Syphon Equipment - To aid moving the beer from the fermenter to the barrel or bottles
Hydrometer - To Measure the gravity of the beer when it starts and finishes
LCD Thermometer - Sticks on the fermenting bin to help you get the right brewing temperature 16oC - 24oC is best for beer
Steriliser - Not equipment but is essential part to keep all equipment clean and sterlised when used
Mixing Spoon or Paddle- Great for giving the wort a good stir
Airlock & Bung - for adding to your fermenter, allows the co2 to escape and stops the bugs getting in
Thermometer - Digital thermometer prefered to take the temperature of the wort
Water - Beer is made from 95% water. Tap water will be fine, filtered is better to remove the chlorine will help give you the best result.
Other Necessary Equipment and Supplies:
• Boiling Kettle / Stock pot : Large enough to boil at least 3 gallons(USA). A 5 gallon(USA) kettle will work for partial boil but ideally an 8 to 10 gallon(USA) kettle for full boil.
• Fermenter: To hold 5.5 gallons (USA) of wort with at least 1 gallon of head space or more.
• Brewing Cleaner and sanitizer

For those under 1.5kg We use Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service.

We only know of the problem if you tell us about the problem, we can't help if we are not told about the issue.
1st orders with us, parcels will not be left with out a signature OR if we think they are a high value order over £120 parcels will need to be signed for.
